No! Pool towels are provided but are not allowed to be taken out of the hotel.

Breakfast is between 8.00am and 10.30am
What is the currency in North Cyprus?
The local currency is YTL (New Turkish Lira). You will find that you can get a better rate of exchange in North Cyprus than you would in the UK. Sterling is very widely accepted.
Are there any restaurants and markets within walking distance of The Hideaway Club?
There are many local restaurants nearby, some within walking distance, others a short cab ride away. Be sure to ask our Reception to reserve you a table, we will be happy to help you!
There is a farmers market every Friday only 1 mile from the hotel at Carpenters Restaurant and a weekly market is held every Wednesday in Kyrenia.

The nearest local beach is about 1 mile from the hotel, others a short cab ride away.
Where is Kyrenia in North Cyprus and how far is it from The Hideaway Club?
Kyrenia is situated in the north of the island and most unspoilt part of North Cyprus. Located South of Turkey, Cyprus is the 3rd largest island in the Mediterranean. Kyrenia is an old harbour town with a beautiful mountain range as its backdrop, surrounded by plains and beaches. History abounds everywhere from the 3 great Crusader castles built in the time of Richard the Lion heart to the Roman ruins of Salamis and Bellapais Abbey. The Hideaway Club is a 10 minute drive west of Kyrenia.
Can we fly to Larnaca airport and stay in North Cyprus?
Yes, you can fly to Larnaca airport and stay in North Cyprus, there is no limit or restriction for EU passport holders.
How do we pay?
A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking, the balance is required 6 weeks before your arrival. This is payable by UK cheque (must be sent by ’signed for International post’) or credit card.
Is there a local transport service to Kyrenia from The Hideaway Club hotel?
No, there is no transport service to Kyrenia from the hotel; however any member of staff will be happy to arrange a taxi for you. Alternatively, you can catch a Dolmus Bus from the main road which is a 20 min walk from the hotel.
Can I exchange foreign currency in the The Hideaway Club?
Currency and travellers cheques can be changed in the hotel Reception between 9 am and 4 pm. The currency in North Cyprus is New Turkish Lira. There are ATM machines available in Kyrenia and most major credit cards are accepted in most places.
Is there Room Service at The Hideaway Club?
Room service is available until midnight, last food orders is 9.30pm. (Toasted sandwiches available until midnight).

Electricity in North Cyprus is 240 volts, 3 pin plugs, same as in the UK.
Is there a laundry service?
We can arrange for your laundry to be sent to a local Dry Cleaners.
Shopping in North Cyprus?
Popular souvenirs include; copper, silver, Bronx and onyx objects, Turkish dolls, hubba bubba pipes and back gammon boards. Jewellery, leathers and textiles can be purchased at low prices. There is a souvenir shop located 50m behind the hotel in the village of Edremit.
