Northern Cyprus is brimming with things to do and places to visit. To help you get the most from your holiday, we've listed just a few here in broad categories. Most of the things listed are linked to pages providing more detail. TOWNS AND CITIES
Kyrenia. Stunning harbour, great shopping and lots to see and do.
Famagusta. On the east coast and well worth a visit.
Nicosia. The capital of Cyprus and a thriving, vibrant city.

HISTORICAL SITES
Bellapais Abbey. A remarkable building in a beautiful village. A 'must see'.
Salamis. The capital of Cyprus in Roman times. The scale is awe-inspiring.
St Hilarion Castle. Stated to be the best preserved of all the Crusader castles.
Buffavento Castle. Harder to access, but an amazing site.
Kantara Castle. To the west of Cyprus and worth a visit.
Kyrenia Castle. Overlooking the harbour. Includes the shipwreck museum.
Vouni Palace. Persian remains with stunning views.
Soli. Small Roman site. Close to Vouni.

NATURE SITES
Karpas Peninsula. Incredible natural scenery. Almost untouched.
Kyrenia mountain range. Stunning scenery and woodlands.

ACTIVITIES
Watersports. Numerous places! We can tell you the best.
SCUBA. A number of PADI centres operate in the region.
Go-karting. An international-standard track.
Golf. The Korineum golf course is truly world class.
Horse riding. Many centres in the area.
Walking. Accompanied tours are available.
Fishing. Boats are available from Kyrenia harbour.

SHOPPING
Kyrenia. Jewellery, clothing and various items.
Nicosia. Almost everything. Excellent market.
Famagusta. Similar to Kyrenia.

RELAXATION
Health spas. There are a number locally.
Boat trips. A superb day out along the coast.
